BioI was raised by Sand People, brainwashed by the Yuuzhan Vong, and trained as a Jedi.
Even after all of that, I am still Tahiri.
The last five years have been sobering- after the war I lived with the Yuuzhan Vong on Zonama Sekot, and lived as they do. It was hard work, but fulfilling. It felt like home.
Then the other survivors of Myrkr and I recieved a summons from the Unknown Regions, and got tangled up in preventing the Chiss from wiping out an entire species.
Finally, we had something to fight for instead of against.
Well, we succeeded. The Jedi managed to relocate and disarm the Killiks, and everyone was happy again.
Me? I was sent to Dagobah to 'think about what it means to be a Jedi Knight.'
Tahiri Veila belongs to the Star Wars Expanded Universe and the masters of the Galaxy Far, Far Away- Lucasfilm, Del Rey, Nancy Richardson who created her, and everyone who wrote her in the NJO- that is to say, NOT ME.

Description: Tahiri is a sinewey blonde with green eyes. She likes walking barefoot, but not as often as she did when she was younger. Her usual dress is somewhere between military and savage- jumpsuits in bright pilot-orange or forest-green or Yuuzhan Vong robeskins, if she's not around humans. She has three vertical scars in the middle of her forehead, remnants of the Yuuzhan Vong scientists tampering with her mind (an event which also triggered her development of a Vongsense that was like the Force, but nowhere near as powerful). Needless to say, all of her experience and knowledge of the Yuuzhan Vong is pretty useless outside that society.
Her lightsaber has a blue blade, and she's lefthanded. Check this gallery for pictures of Tahiri, and this one for pictures of the Yuuzhan Vong.

Tahiri came to Milliways for the first time just after the end of the New Jedi Order novels. Now, she's just finished going through the three-book series bridging the NJO and the Legacy series- about six years after her first visit to the Bar.
NOTE: She's sorta been canon-punctured... knows about the movies, but thinks of them as a sort of glorified docu-drama. She's not particularly interested in that part of galactic history anyway.
